 Our Vision
To be a family of Christians committed to:
- Loving God (Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit) – through worship, obedience, and communion.
- Loving people (of Hope, SD, and the world) – through discipleship training, evangelism/missions, and mercy ministry.
Our Beliefs
Quoted from the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA)
- We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.
- We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy.
- We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.
- We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.
- We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
- We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
 Our Church Structure
There are several different ministries at our church, each seeking to honor and glorify Him with a grateful heart.
They consist of (but are not limited to):

Our College Ministry
All college-age individuals are welcome to our fellowship! Whether you are working full-time, a part-time student, or a full-time student, we wish to welcome you as family! Most of our college students are from UCSD, San Diego State, and Mesa college. We have Friday night (at 7:30 PM) bible studies at church and fellowship afterwards. Come out and fellowship with us! :)
Our Young Adult Group
Post college-age singles -- this is for you!
We have Thursday night (at 7:30 PM) bible study and fellowship for the Young Adult group on the 2nd floor of the Fellowship Hall at church. Each meeting consists of an interactive bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Come and join us!
Our Married Couples Ministry
We have bi-weekly fellowship group meetings on Sundays (at 4:30 PM) at various homes. There are currently three groups that meet. We gather to fellowship with God and with one another. Our desire is to become disciples of Jesus Christ together. Let's grow together in Lord!
Missions
We understand that sharing the gospel (evangelism) is at the center of God's calling to His people for it is at the center of His heart for the world. We seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those in San Diego and beyond.
We are currently supporting missionaries in Australia, Mexico, Middle East, Japan, and Europe (Persian Mission). | |
