Reflection Questions (Applying the Gospel to Our Lives):

1.  What are some dark and gloomy things you see in the world and in your life?

2.    Is there a purpose to life if there is no God?  Since God does exist, what is the meaning of life?

3.    How does Jesus change the darkness of sin and suffering?  How has He done that in your life?

4.   Because of the zeal of the Lord, what do you expect will happen?  Does this give you a living hope and an enduring peace?

5.    End by praying for those around you who do not know this hope & peace.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Reflection Groups: For your edification, we offer reflection groups where you can reflect on today's gospel message and apply it to your own life. They are a wonderful way to get to know others, too.

• Youth Group - Youth students, there will be a fellowship meeting after the service in the Courtyard.

• Sparks (Children’s Ministry Worship) - SUN @ 10:30 am [Rm 202]: Children have their own worship.

• **Combined Worship Service (Sun’s, Dec 21-Jan 04 @10:30am): We will have a combined service during the holiday season.

• Saturday Morning Prayer - 8:30 am @ BMMS [Auditorium aka Little Theater]

• Sunday Morning Prayer - 10:00 am @ BMMS [Rm 202]

Prayer Ministry’s Monthly Prayer Topic: Pray for the missionaries that our church is supporting to remain steadfast and bold in their gospel ministry.

• Koinonia Group: Those in TAG (The Adult Group), please sign up here to join a KG.

• Membership Class: Please pray for our prospective members.

• TAG Christmas Party (TODAY, Sun, Dec 14 @5pm): Join us for our TAG (The Adult Group) Christmas party at the Shin residence! Come prepared for a potluck and $20 white elephant gift.

• Christmas Service (Sun, Dec 21 @10:30am): We will have a special Christmas worship service.  We will have a combined service for Christmas.

• Combined Worship Service (Sun’s, Dec 21-Jan 04 @10:30am): We will have a combined service during the holiday season.

• Christmas Dinner (Thu, Dec 25 @6pm): Please don’t spend Christmas alone.  If you cannot go to your family for Christmas, please join PJoe and his family for dinner.

• New Year’s Eve Service (Wed, Dec 31 @8pm): Please join us via Zoom to end the year in prayer and to prepare for the New Year in prayer.

• SPARKS Ministry Teacher Needed: We’re currently looking for a new teacher to join the Sparks Ministry team. If you are interested, please speak with Yoon for more details.

• Men of Hope Interest Form: Let's keep the momentum going for men's ministry! Please fill out this form so we can gauge your interest around discipleship, future meals with brothers, and potential retreat events!

• Missionary Newletters: If you’d like to receive newsletters and updates from the missionaries we support, please speak to Eunice.

• Youth Teachers: We are looking for youth teachers.  If interested, please speak to Samuel Shin.

• Outreach Coordinator: We are loooking for an outreach coordinator. If interested, please speak to Elder Mark, Eunice, Bryan, or Jinah.

• Sermon Topic Suggestion: If you would like to suggest a sermon topic to Pastor Joe, then please use the suggestion form on our website here.

• TAG Visitations: Pastor Joe wants to meet up with all the TAGers. Please let Pastor Joe know when it is convenient for you.

• Stage Crew: Media and praise teams are recruiting sound stage crew members to help set up and break down media and praise equipment.  If you are interested, please talk to Andrew Han.

• Prayer Request Form: Prayer ministry wants to pray for you! If you have any prayer requests, please submit them here.

• Prayer Meetings (Sat @ 8:30am & Sun @ 10am): Please join us in prayer as we depend on our Heavenly Father to advance His kingdom through Hope PC.
