Reflection Questions (Applying the Gospel to Our Lives):

1.  Why do people naturally seek security in earthly institutions, buildings, and accomplishments rather than in Christ?

2. Who are the false teachers/messiahs who are leading people astray? What is the attraction in them?

3. How can suffering and persecution tempt believers to fall away?

4. How does God's preserving grace encourage believers facing trials? How does the promise of Christ's return strengthen perseverance?

5. How should the certainty of Christ's return shape the priorities of your life and ministry?

6. Pray asking the Father to help Hopers to have a persevering faith in Christ Jesus.

• Reflection Groups: For your edification, we offer reflection groups where you can reflect on today's gospel message and apply it to your own life. They are a wonderful way to get to know others, too.

• Youth Group - Youth students, there will be a fellowship meeting after the service in the Courtyard.

• Sparks (Children’s Ministry Worship) - SUN @ 10:30 am [Rm 202]: Children have their own worship.

• Saturday Morning Prayer - 8:30 am @ BMMS [Auditorium aka Little Theater]

• Sunday Morning Prayer - 10:00 am @ BMMS [Rm 202]

Prayer Ministry’s Monthly Prayer Topic: Pray for the missionaries that our church is supporting to remain steadfast and bold in their gospel ministry.

• Koinonia Group: Those in TAG (The Adult Group), please sign up here to join a KG.

• Congrats: Congratulations to all our students that are graduating – from kindergarten, elementary school, college, and graduate school.

• Pastor Joe Away: Pastor Joe will be away in Dallas leaving tonight and coming back Wednesday.  His brother is retiring and being installed as the Pastor Emeritus of Young Nak Presbyterian Church of Dallas.

• M3: Much thanks to all who are serving Christ’s church so faithfully.

• Short-term Missions to Vietnam (Jul 1-11): Our mother church is seeking to co-labor with us to reach Vietnam with the gospel.  If interested, please speak to Pastor Joe.

• Kyle Chen: Has accepted our call to be the Director of Christian Education at our church.  Please pray for his family for a smooth transition to San Diego in September.

• Men of Hope Interest Form: Let's keep the momentum going for men's ministry! Please fill out this form so we can gauge your interest around discipleship, future meals with brothers, and potential retreat events!

• Missionary Newletters: If you’d like to receive newsletters and updates from the missionaries we support, please speak to Eunice.

• Sermon Topic Suggestion: If you would like to suggest a sermon topic to Pastor Joe, then please use the suggestion form on our website here.

• TAG Visitations: Pastor Joe wants to meet up with all the TAGers. Please let Pastor Joe know when it is convenient for you.

• Stage Crew: Media and praise teams are recruiting sound stage crew members to help set up and break down media and praise equipment.  If you are interested, please talk to Andrew Han.

• Prayer Request Form: Prayer ministry wants to pray for you! If you have any prayer requests, please submit them here.

• Prayer Meetings (Sat @ 8:30am & Sun @ 10am): Please join us in prayer as we depend on our Heavenly Father to advance His kingdom through Hope PC.
