Reflection Questions (Applying the Gospel to Our Lives):

1.     If you had been in Peter’s shoes, would you have asked Jesus to help you walk on water?  Why or why not?

2.    What frustrations are you facing in your life?  What is tormenting you?

3.    What do you think are the sources of your fears?  What will help you deal with your fears?

4.   What is the significance of Jesus saying, “I am.”  What are things that take your eyes off of Jesus, the source of your faith?

5.    Are you growing in your knowledge of and in your relationship with Jesus?

6.    Ask the Father to help Hopers to grow in our faith by fixing our eyes on Jesus, the source of our faith.

• Reflection Groups: For your edification, we offer reflection groups where you can reflect on today's gospel message and apply it to your own life. They are a wonderful way to get to know others, too.

• Youth Group - Youth students, there will be a fellowship meeting after the service in the Courtyard.

• Sparks (Children’s Ministry Worship) - SUN @ 10:30 am [Rm 202]: Children have their own worship.

• Saturday Morning Prayer - 8:30 am @ BMMS [Auditorium aka Little Theater]

• Sunday Morning Prayer - 10:00 am @ BMMS [Rm 202]

Prayer Ministry’s Monthly Prayer Topic: Pray for the missionaries that our church is supporting to remain steadfast and bold in their gospel ministry.

• Combined Worship (Jun 29-Jul 29): Youth Group and Sparks Ministry will join adults in 10:30 am worship.  No first worship service.

• Ligonier Conference (Oct 31-Nov 1): Ligonier Conference is coming to Escondido.

• Sermon Topic Suggestion: If you would like to suggest a sermon topic to Pastor Joe, then please use the suggestion form on our website here.

• TAG Visitations: Pastor Joe wants to meet up with all the TAGers. Please let Pastor Joe know when it is convenient for you.

• Stage Crew: Media and praise teams are recruiting sound stage crew members to help set up and break down media and praise equipment.  If you are interested, please talk to Andrew Han.

• Prayer Request Form: Prayer ministry wants to pray for you! If you have any prayer requests, please submit them here.

• Prayer Meetings (Sat @ 8:30am & Sun @ 10am): Please join us in prayer as we depend on our Heavenly Father to advance His kingdom through Hope PC.
